Job Description
Maintain in clean and orderly condition any designated facility or office areas including restrooms. Requires continuous standing and walking with frequent exertion of 6 to 20 lbs. and occasional exertion of 21 to 57.5 lbs.
Position requires performance of Operating System One (OS1) Team Cleaning Methods. Daily duties require physical repetitive exertion and the ability to walk, crouch, stoop, reach, carry, and lift for long periods of time utilizing equipment assigned for the task. Daily assignments include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash, and cleaning restrooms. Equipment and supplies, include, but are not limited to, notepad, keys, gloves, 32-55 gallon wheeled trash barrels, apron caddy containing cleaning supplies, distribution tray, trigger spray bottles, dust cloth, wooly duster, towels, putty knife, pack cutter, vacuum backpack, vacuum, mop and buffer. Position requires exposure to elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
Additional duties include the ability to read and accurately follow instructions, both oral and written to appropriately complete duties such as product directions job orders, memos, schedules, complete forms, prepare supply requests, document maintenance, request service needs, and other related information. Position requires the ability to measure accurately using measuring devices and to perform basic math skills.

Job Description
Sales Leads Generation has two main categories:

1) Janitorial Customers located in Long Beach, CA
2) Research granting, funding, financing opportunities with foundations, charities, and private endowments throughout the United States.

1) To create a database of janitorial customers in Long Beach, CA that LAHH will pitch their services to in the future.


To accomplish this: Research on the Worldwide Web and through local branches of information, such as Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club, Kiwanis Club, public libraries, and other mediums information about the cleaning or janitorial or operations at different office facilities, government facilities, and private commercial facilities throughout Long Beach, CA. To identify the company’s name, facility manager’s name, address, phone, and email. To identify the square footage of the building, number of floors, type of business, with short summary of business’ mission, goals, strategic initiatives.

2) Maintain existing database of foundations/charities/private endowments by updating contact information as well add to this database through research using the WWW and Philanthropy Chronicle and other news sources of charitable giving.

Job Description
Job Duties included, but are not limited to:
• Provides supervision and training to employees
• As needed assist Project Manager/Team Leader to complete work plans, schedules and assignments for buildings being serviced.
• Implement daily work plans, schedules and assignments for employees performing janitorial services as per contract.
• Conduct weekly quality control inspections for all service areas to ensure the quality of work being performed meets contract standards.
• Maintain positive working relationships with property managers to hear and resolve service complaints. Refer serious unresolved complaints to Quality Control Manager.
• Prepare and maintain supplies for buildings being serviced to include mixing chemicals, cleaning vacuums, changing mops heads and vacuum belts, packing/stocking paper products etc.

• Associates degree in Social Services or related field or a High School diploma
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in the janitorial industry

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public verbally, in person, and via email, electronically.
• Coaching skills, good language skills, ability to work some flexible hours (mostly evening), have reliable transportation, and be able to pass a national and local background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Patient with an attitude to resolve conflicts with kindness, understanding, and patience.
• Effective, clear, and kind communicator with a strong emphasis on customer service and the desire to exceed customer expectations.
